To show device orientation to magnetic or true north

Why does the app need the camera permission?

Only to access the device rear viewfinder which is shown with a bearing superimposed when the device is vertical

Why does the app need the fine location permission?

To look-up magnetic declination so that True North can be calculated for your current position

What information does the app collect automatically?

GPS Location used only to look-up magnetic declination using the android.hardware.GeomagneticField API

Magnetometer and accelerometer readings and gyroscope readings (if available and selected) to calculate bearings for pointers

What information does the app collect from the user?

App settings

No. The information this app collects on your device stays on your device
