What is the purpose of the app?

To show device orientation to magnetic or true north.

Why does the app need the camera permission?

Only to access the device rear viewfinder which is shown with a bearing superimposed when the device is vertical.

What information does the app collect automatically?

Magnetometer and accelerometer readings and gyroscope readings (if available and selected) to calculate bearings.

What information does the app collect from the user?

Location coordinates (optional) used only to calculate magnetic declination using the android.hardware.GeomagneticField API.

Magnetic declination (optional and as alternative to location coordinates) used only to calculate true north.

Is the information the app collects shared or sent anywhere?

No. The information this app collects on your device stays on your device.

Does the app show ads or use analytics

No.
